My mom can sometimes be a bit worried about things, among them bad weather when driving. In response I created Trip4cast, which makes it possible to the user to get a quick and easy check on the weather forecast along a route. The forecast adjusts with the starting time and identifies when you expect to reach the different forecast points. By testing different start times you can easily see if you can get a better weather forecasts en route.
Maps and weather forecasts are fetched from Google maps and yr.no respectively making the service possible to use world wide.
Who knew it can snow and thunder simultaneously?! All according to the symbol codes of the Norwegian Meteorological Institute.
